Small amount, big effect. Although trace elements only make up a small part of our diet, they are of great importance for our health. As key components of enzymes, zinc, selenium and manganese help to ensure that important messenger substances and building blocks are formed and that our metabolism runs smoothly. Zinc is the front-runner with over 300 enzymes! Its importance is correspondingly high.
To ensure that all processes interact optimally, a successful mix of all relevant micronutrients is required. That's why we combine four of them in our trace elements: Zinc and selenium for the immune system, chromium as an important element for blood sugar levels and manganese for energy metabolism.
We also benefit from trace elements when it comes to beauty: While zinc primarily benefits our skin as an internal care product, our hair and nails benefit from zinc and selenium. In addition, there is the cell protection effect of manganese, selenium and zinc. Together with other antioxidants, they visibly protect our (skin) cells from free radicals. The need is correspondingly high when we spend a lot of time in the sun, sleep little, smoke, consume alcohol, fly far or suffer a lot of stress.
Our trace element combination is also interesting for men who want to have children. While selenium contributes to normal sperm production, zinc is needed for normal testosterone levels, DNA synthesis and cell division.
In addition to a clever composition and high purity, we paid particular attention to good tolerance and bioavailability of our trace elements. For example, for zinc and manganese we use organic gluconates, for chromium we use chromium III chloride, which is similar to table salt, and for selenium we use selenium yeast, which, like plants and animals, mainly contains highly bioavailable selenomethionine.
