Curcuma & B vitamins – harmonious duo for balance in stressful times
Small Impulses for Big Challenges
Curcuma – the golden treasure
B-vitamins – valuable helpers with great potential
B vitamins form a diverse group of essential micronutrients. These include riboflavin (vitamin B2), which is also known for its characteristic yellow color, and biotin, which many people know from skin care products. Other important representatives are niacin (vitamin B3), pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). All of these B vitamins are involved in many different metabolic processes and play an important role for example in the nerves and psyche.
Together, vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6 and biotin support energy metabolism3. This gives us valuable energy for our everyday lives. In addition, vitamins B2, B3, B5 and B6 help to reduce tiredness and fatigue4 – and thus help us to get through the day feeling fresh and alert.
When it comes to skin2 and hair6, most people probably think of biotin first. But biotin is not alone in its skin-care effects: Vitamins B2 and B3 also contribute to maintaining normal skin2. The mucous membrane-care effect of these three B vitamins2 is particularly interesting, and the huge mucous membrane surface of our intestines also benefits from this. The intestines are not only important for metabolism, digestion and excretion, but are also known to influence the immune system7 and psyche1; this brings us full circle to the B vitamins.
Hand in hand for body & mind – effect more together
In my experience, B vitamins - preferably in combination with high-quality, highly concentrated turmeric - can support the body in many of these areas. Turmeric has been known for a long time and is valued in various cultures. B vitamins play a role in energy production3, metabolism5 and the nervous system1. They also influence our ability to think8 and our psyche1.
Together with tumeric clevery combinated B vitamins can make a valuable contribution to our general well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
