Black cumin (Nigella sativa) comes from the buttercup family. The valuable seed grows in capsules that look very similar to poppy flowers. Harvesting begins when the seed capsules are light brown and the seeds are ripe. The harvested plants are threshed and the seeds are cold-pressed in the oil mill. Due to this gentle process, the oil isolated from the black cumin seed contains polyunsaturated fatty acids (around 55% omega-6 and 22% omega-9 fatty acids), enzymes, trace elements, vitamins and essential oils. So it's no wonder that hypo-A appreciate the "golden oil".

One dose of hypo-A black cumin oil contains 150 capsules, each containing 490 mg of organic black cumin oil. Known as a vitamin E-rich oil, each capsule additionally contains around 10 mg of vitamin E in the form of natural D-tocopherol as an antioxidant.
